The Role: A Strategic Opportunity in Financial Management
This is a full-time, on-site position in Gurugram, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience. As the Accountant, you will be pivotal in safeguarding the organization's financial health, with a significant emphasis on managing the fiscal aspects of their impactful CSR projects.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Financial Oversight: Managing comprehensive financial accounting processes and developing robust budgets.
CSR Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring strict adherence to CSR compliances, meticulous budgeting, and generating accurate utilization certificates for CSR initiatives.
Taxation Management: Handling all GST filings, including GST R1 and GST 3B, and promptly addressing any discrepancies. Overseeing all TDS and other tax compliance requirements.
Accurate Financial Statements: Preparing precise and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring full compliance with financial regulations and maintaining well-organized financial records.
Accounts Management: Supervising both accounts payable and receivable functions, from invoice processing and payment approvals to efficient collections.
Cash Flow Optimization: Monitoring cash flow diligently and implementing strategies to optimize working capital management.
Collaborative Financial Planning: Working closely with operational teams to develop accurate financial forecasts and projections. Evaluating potential investment opportunities and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Audit Coordination: Ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Collaborating effectively with auditors during financial audits and implementing their recommendations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a mandatory requirement.
Professional Experience: Proven experience of 5-10 years as an Accountant or in a similar financial capacity.
Technical Acumen: High proficiency in widely used accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle. Advanced command of MS Excel and other financial tools is essential.
Core Financial Knowledge: A deep and comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
Essential Soft Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
