Your Contribution: Blending Financial Acumen with Project Oversight

You'll be instrumental in managing the organization's daily financial operations while also providing crucial support for M&E activities. Your work will ensure both financial integrity and accurate tracking of project progress.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Financial Stewardship: Managing daily financial records and vouchers, preparing essential documents such as budget sheets, utilization certificates, and Statements of Expenditure (SOE). You'll also be responsible for bank reconciliation, maintaining cashbooks, and managing ledgers.
M&E Assistance: Actively participating in project monitoring, data collection, and reporting, ensuring all activities align with M&E requirements. This involves close coordination with field teams to ensure data accuracy and timely submissions.
Reporting & Compliance: Contributing to the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial and progress reports, and upholding strict adherence to organizational financial policies to ensure audit readiness.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Qualifications & Expertise
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
Education: A B.Com or M.Com degree, with a preference for specializations in Finance or Accounting.
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting and data handling. Prior experience within the NGO sector in an accounting capacity will be a distinct advantage.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel is essential, including expertise in utilizing formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning techniques.
M&E Familiarity: Basic knowledge of M&E tools or reporting formats is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of how to effectively track and report on project outcomes.
Personal Attributes: The ability to work autonomously and consistently meet deadlines is crucial.
Compensation & Application Details
Arbode Gramya Vikas Shiksha Samiti offers a competitive monthly salary of ₹16,000/-, along with a Travel Allowance (TA) of ₹600/-.
