The Accounts & Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in CKN's Rural Creche Initiative, a project supported by the Azim Premji Foundation. This position is the backbone of the program's operations, ensuring financial transparency and smooth logistical support. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to the social sector.
This role isn't just about managing numbers; it's about enabling the success of a program that directly benefits vulnerable children. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from maintaining financial records and handling accounts to coordinating the procurement and distribution of essential supplies for the creche centers. Your work will directly support the field teams and ensure that the program runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: What You'll Do
Financial Management: You will manage the day-to-day accounts for the Rural Creche Initiative, including timely data entry, handling petty cash, and preparing financial reports. Your work will ensure compliance with all financial standards and audit norms.
Logistical Coordination: You will be responsible for procuring and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies for the creches. This includes maintaining stock registers and coordinating all logistical arrangements for meetings, trainings, and field visits.
Administrative Support: You will assist with essential administrative tasks, such as tracking attendance, managing reimbursements, and providing support during audits.
Who We Are Looking For
CKN is seeking a skilled and committed individual who meets the following qualifications:
Education: A graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, logistics, or administration, with a preference for experience in the development sector. Field-level accounts management experience is a plus.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software like Tally. Strong communication skills in Hindi are essential, and a basic understanding of English is desirable.
Personal Commitment: A strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and a genuine desire to work with rural and tribal communities. The ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively is a must.
