Since 1969, Mobile Creches (MC) has been at the forefront of providing essential childcare and health services to young children, particularly those from marginalized communities. They operate across worksites, urban slums, and rural areas, ensuring that children under six have access to the care, nutrition, and early stimulation they need to thrive.

With a strong focus on holistic development, MC runs 55 crèche centers and is expanding to 80 centers in Jharkhand, specifically in the Murhu Block of Khunti District and the Bero Block of Ranchi District. These centers are more than just daycare facilities—they are lifelines for families, offering nutritional support, health monitoring, and a safe, protective environment.

The Role: A Cornerstone of Operations

As the Accounts and Logistics Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of MC's vital programs in Murhu Block. Your responsibilities will be twofold:

• Accounts Management: You will be the financial backbone of the project, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports. Your work will ensure financial integrity and adherence to budgetary guidelines, directly supporting the sustainability of MC's programs.

• Logistics Coordination: You'll be in charge of the operational flow, from planning project events to overseeing the procurement of essential supplies. This includes managing inventory, conducting stock audits, and ensuring that crèche centers receive timely deliveries of everything from rations and medicines to educational materials.

This position requires a blend of meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. You'll work closely with the State Lead and other team members, providing crucial support that enables the field teams to focus on what matters most: the children.

Who They're Looking For

Mobile Creches is seeking a professional with a graduate degree in business, accounting, or a related field and a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in accounts and logistics management. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computerized accounting systems and possess strong skills in MS Office.

Crucially, you must be willing to relocate to Murhu Block and be comfortable traveling in the field with a two-wheeler (a valid driving license is a must). Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills are essential, as you'll be managing vendors and collaborating with a diverse, multi-cultural team. Fluency in a local tribal dialect is also preferred, showcasing a commitment to integrating with the community.
