The Role: Leading the Ragi Ladoo Programme

The Ragi Ladoo Programme is an innovative initiative focused on leveraging the nutritional power of millets, particularly Ragi (finger millet), to combat malnutrition. As the District Program Coordinator, you will be the linchpin for the programme's success within the Angul district.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Spearheading the district-level planning, operational execution, and rigorous monitoring of the entire Ragi Ladoo Programme.

  • Convergence and Coordination: Ensuring seamless collaboration with critical government departments and community structures, including the ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services), the District Health Department, Self Help Groups (SHGs), and Anganwadi Centres (AWCs).

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with community stakeholders to ensure sustainable impact and local ownership.

  • Reporting and MIS: Maintaining high standards of Management Information Systems (MIS) and reporting on programme outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Nutrition, Public Health, Social Work, or Rural Development.

  • Sector Knowledge: Experience working closely with ICDS structures and/or Self Help Groups (SHGs) is highly preferred.

  • Skills: Demonstrated excellence in coordination, communication, and managing MIS.

  • Language & Travel: Proficiency in English and the local language is mandatory, alongside a willingness to travel extensively within the Angul district.

Compensation and Contract Details

This high-impact role offers a competitive salary package ranging from ₹4.2 Lakhs to ₹5.4 Lakhs Per Annum (LPA), commensurate with experience. The initial contract is for 1 Year but is subject to extension based on performance and programme requirements.
