Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager - Policy, you won’t just be observing industry trends—you will be analyzing them to drive evidence-based recommendations. Your core responsibilities will include:
Policy & Data Analysis: Conducting research on trade, taxation, manufacturing, and competitiveness while working with industry data to back policy suggestions.
Monitoring Developments: Tracking government announcements, regulatory changes, and assessing their macroeconomic impacts on the electronics sector.
Documentation & Briefing: Drafting high-quality policy notes, briefing papers, presentations, and official consultation responses.
Stakeholder Engagement: Supporting ICEA's active communication with ministries, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.
Event Coordination: Assisting in organizing roundtables, industry consultations, and webinars, as well as handling agendas and member briefings.
Qualifications and Skills: Who Should Apply?
ICEA is looking for analytical minds capable of interpreting complex industry data and communicating it effectively.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, International Trade, Law, Management, or related fields. Candidates holding a postgraduate qualification or diploma in these areas are highly preferred.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in economic research, public policy, trade policy, consulting, or taxation.
