The Opportunity: Assistant Manager (Research Associate)

Mobile Creches is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager (Research Associate) to join its Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) department in Delhi. This role is perfect for a professional with a Master's degree and 2-3 years of experience in research, ready to contribute to an organization that puts children at the heart of its mission.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

As a Research Associate, you will be a crucial part of the MEAL team, responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive literature reviews and secondary research.

  • Developing research tools for both quantitative and qualitative data collection, including surveys and interview guides.

  • Assisting in data management, cleaning, and preliminary analysis.

  • Supporting the design of new research methodologies.

  • Contributing to research reports, publications, and presentations that share findings and insights with the broader community.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Sociology, Economics, Political Science, or Development Studies. You should have hands-on experience in data collection and analysis techniques. Familiarity with statistical software like SPSS, Stata, or NVivo is a significant plus. A solid understanding of Early Childhood Development (ECD) theories and frameworks is highly desirable.
