Key Responsibilities and Expectations

The successful candidate will manage a wide range of financial duties, including:

  • Core Accounting: Handling petty cash, maintaining the cash book both manually and in Tally, and performing regular cash reconciliations.

  • Transaction Processing: Systematically entering payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers in Tally with precise details.

  • Vendor and Bill Management: Verifying vendor bills against documentation, securing necessary approvals, and ensuring timely payments to maintain strong vendor relationships.

  • Financial Monitoring: Conducting regular bank reconciliations to resolve discrepancies, tracking daily fund inflow and outflow, and monitoring budget entries against approved variances.

  • Reporting and Support: Assisting in the preparation of monthly expenditure summaries, supporting budget tracking, and preparing financial records for internal and external audits.

  • Team Coordination: Working closely with program and administrative teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial entries and reports.
