Role Overview: What the Associate Position Involves
The Associate will support policy advocacy, technical research, and strategic programme development across renewable energy and distributed energy systems. Key Responsibilities
Renewable Energy Policy & Technical Research (70% of the role)
Conducting technical and policy research across renewable energy and DRE sectors, including rooftop solar, mini-grids, and agrivoltaics
Analysing central and state government policies, regulations, and market mechanisms affecting the renewable ecosystem
Preparing policy briefs, white papers, technical reports, consultation responses, and analytical notes
Supporting techno-commercial analysis, implementation assessments, and business model evaluations
Developing dashboards, evidence-based recommendations, and strategic inputs for institutional stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement & Programme Coordination (30% of the role)
Supporting the planning and execution of stakeholder consultations, industry roundtables, workshops, and multi-stakeholder convenings
Coordinating awareness and outreach activities related to rooftop solar and DRE initiatives
Preparing concept notes, agendas, presentations, briefing materials, and stakeholder communication documents
Drafting Minutes of Meeting (MoMs), consultation summaries, discussion notes, and action trackers
Assisting in programme management, implementation tracking, and knowledge dissemination across ongoing initiatives
Who Should Apply: Qualifications and Skills
