Empowering Women in Assam: Ayang Trust Announces New Career Opportunities in Lakhimpur
Are you passionate about grassroots development and women’s empowerment? Ayang Trust is expanding its mission to foster economic independence in Northeast India. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our Livelihood Project on Women’s Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in the Lakhimpur district of Assam.
This project is designed to strengthen community institutions and create sustainable enterprise models for women across various development blocks. If you want to make a tangible impact on rural livelihoods, explore the open positions below.
Open Positions and Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who combine academic knowledge with a heart for community service. The following roles are now open for applications:
1. Project Associate
As a Project Associate, you will play a key role in strategy and implementation.
Education: Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Rural Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in development projects, livelihoods, or enterprise promotion.
2. Program Trainer cum Facilitator
This role focuses on capacity building and skill transfer for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or Management.
Experience: 2 years in training and facilitation. Candidates with specific experience working with women entrepreneurs are highly preferred.
3. Field Facilitator
Ideal for those who enjoy direct community engagement and grassroots mobilization.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Rural Development (Graduates in any discipline with relevant grassroots experience are also encouraged to apply).
Experience: Prior experience in community mobilization or handloom is preferred. Freshers with high motivation and a strong community orientation will also be considered.
