The Role: What You'll Do

The Badlao Foundation is looking for an individual to take on a multifaceted role with a range of responsibilities. You'll be at the heart of their mission, working directly with communities and stakeholders.

  • Program Implementation: You will oversee the execution of various development programs, collaborating with government bodies, other NGOs, and community leaders.

  • Community Engagement: This role involves hands-on work with Paharia communities to understand their needs and mobilize them around critical issues like health, education, and welfare.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: You'll track the impact of the foundation's initiatives, document challenges, and prepare detailed reports to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Capacity Building: A key part of the job is to train and mentor volunteers, field staff, and community members, particularly tribal youth and women, building their skills and confidence.

  • Data and Resource Management: You will collect and manage important community data, document successful practices, and ensure that resources are distributed fairly and efficiently.

Who They Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community development and governance.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a focus on Gram Sabha and tribal community work.

  • Education: A degree in MSW, MARD, MBA, Development Studies, or a related field is essential.

  • Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are a must.

  • Languages: Proficiency in both Hindi and English is required. Knowledge of Pahariya or Santhali languages would be a significant advantage.
