What You Will Do: Lead Community Change
As a Block Coordinator, you will act as the vital bridge between grassroots communities and systemic developmental programs. Your primary objective will be to support adolescents in building safer, more inclusive, and empowered environments.
1. Community Mobilisation
You will actively engage key community stakeholders—including adolescents, caregivers, teachers, Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, and frontline workers—to drive and strengthen local participation.
2. Programme Implementation
You will be responsible for planning and executing various project activities across approximately 15 assigned Gram Panchayats, ensuring all initiatives are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
3. Community Facilitation
Leading community dialogues, multi-stakeholder meetings, and inclusion-focused sessions will be a core part of your day-to-day work to foster positive social change.
4. Monitoring & Coordination
To maintain high program standards, you will manage project documentation, regularly update the Management Information System (MIS), and coordinate closely with schools, Gram Panchayats, and local administrative bodies.
Who We Are Looking For: Eligibility & Competencies
Agricons Foundation is seeking dedicated professionals with a background in social development and a readiness for active field travel.
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, Education, or a related social science discipline.
Professional Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience working in community development, NGO-led programs, or grassroots field implementation.
Key Skills & Field Readiness
Core Competencies: Strong community mobilization skills, excellent facilitation and communication abilities, sound documentation/reporting skills, digital literacy, and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
Field Adaptability: A high comfort level with frequent travel across rural villages and a proven ability to build trust and work closely with local stakeholders.
