The Role: Child Rights Associate (CRA)

As a CRA, you won't just be an observer; you will be a vital catalyst for change. Your primary mission is to provide strategic and operational support to District Administrations. You will be the glue that ensures effective coordination and convergence among various government departments to protect and uplift children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gap Analysis: Conduct situational assessments to identify systemic challenges in child protection.

  • Policy Implementation: Facilitate and follow up on government orders to ensure timely action on identified issues.

  • Vulnerability Mapping: Identify at-risk children and families, linking them with essential central and state social welfare schemes.

  • System Strengthening: Ensure child protection institutions are functioning effectively and complying with legal standards.

  • Direct Support: Assist in the protection and rehabilitation of children facing marriage, trafficking, labor, or exploitation.

  • Awareness & Data: Conduct sensitization workshops and track real-time progress on health, nutrition, and education indicators.
