Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

This role offers a diverse and impactful set of responsibilities, focusing on direct community engagement:

  • Community Engagement & Outreach: Inspire and organize women, adolescents, and families to participate in health camps, awareness initiatives, and vital community gatherings.

  • Vulnerability Identification & Support: Conduct regular household visits to identify individuals and families in need, facilitating prompt referrals to appropriate health institutions.

  • Health Program Facilitation: Play a key role in coordinating nutrition screenings, linking community members to essential immunization services, and conducting educational sessions on menstrual hygiene.

  • Field Data Management: Accurately maintain essential field documentation and community registers to track progress and identify ongoing needs.

  • Local Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare frontline workers, including ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and Medical Officers.

Who We're Seeking: Eligibility Criteria

Matri Sudha is dedicated to fostering a supportive and effective team. We encourage applications from candidates who meet the following:

  • Educational Background: A minimum of Graduation is required. Preference will be given to those with prior health-related training.

  • Experience: While not mandatory, 0-2 years of relevant experience in community-based work, particularly in health or education sectors, is preferred.

  • Language Proficiency: Must be comfortable with both spoken and written Hindi. A basic understanding of documentation processes is also needed.

  • Local Preference: We prioritize women candidates and individuals who are residents of the local South-East Delhi area, valuing deep community ties.
