The Role: Coordinator Human Resources
Based in Santacruz, Mumbai, the Coordinator Human Resources will guide, manage, and provide strategic direction for SNEHA's human resources function, ensuring seamless operations across all locations. This role reports directly to the Director – HR & Admin.
Core Responsibilities: Shaping Our Workforce
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of HR operations, with key responsibilities encompassing:
Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity), and coordinating with finance for audit requirements.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Overseeing all stages of the employee journey, from onboarding and confirmation to transfers, promotions, and exit procedures, while maintaining precise HRIS records.
Grievance & Discipline Management: Serving as the initial point of contact for employee concerns, facilitating fair and timely resolution of workplace issues, and meticulously documenting disciplinary actions.
Training & Development: Identifying training needs, planning and coordinating internal/external programs, and maintaining training records to align with strategic goals.
Manpower Budget & Planning: Supporting the development of annual manpower budgets, tracking staffing levels against approvals, and ensuring adherence to sanctioned positions.
HRIS & Process Automation: Leading the implementation and optimization of the HRIS platform, ensuring data accuracy, system utilization, and automation of processes like attendance and leave.
Performance Management: Facilitating goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals, supporting managers in feedback processes, and analyzing performance data for informed decision-making.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education: Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management, Social Work (Labour Welfare & Personnel Management), or Labour Welfare.
Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in the HR field, with proficiency in HRIS systems and Excel. Previous exposure to non-profit, healthcare, or public sector settings is preferred.
Critical Traits: Possesses deep professional expertise in employment law and HR best practices, demonstrates unwavering trust and integrity as a confidential advisor, acts as a role model upholding organizational values, exhibits strong organizational skills and agility to manage multiple demands, and shows diversity sensitivity in working with varied populations.
