The Role: Driving Sustainable Change

Recytronics is committed to aligning its business values with powerful CSR programs, particularly within crucial relevant sectors like Environment, Climate, Energy, Water, and Sanitation, alongside Fundraising, Business Development, Grants Writing, and Private Sector engagement.

The selected CSR professional will report directly to the Head of CSR and be responsible for the full lifecycle of the organization’s CSR framework. Key responsibilities are segmented into five strategic areas:

1. Strategic Vision and Planning

The role requires developing and executing comprehensive CSR strategies that resonate with Recytronics' core values and adhere to all legal requirements. This involves pinpointing high-impact focus areas—such as education, environment, healthcare, women empowerment, digital literacy, and skill development—and meticulously preparing and monitoring the annual CSR budget.

2. Hands-on Program Management

You'll be instrumental in the planning, execution, and monitoring of CSR projects. Success hinges on ensuring projects are sustainable, measurable, and impactful, requiring close collaboration with NGOs, government agencies, and community organizations. Regular reviews, audits, and rigorous impact assessments are core to this function.

3. Compliance and Transparent Reporting

A crucial part of the job is ensuring strict adherence to all statutory obligations, particularly under the Companies Act (Section 135). This includes maintaining impeccable records, comprehensive documentation, and preparing the organization's annual CSR disclosures for management and statutory reporting.

4. Stakeholder and Community Engagement

Building and nurturing robust relationships is vital. The Manager/Executive will serve as the company's representative, engaging with community leaders, NGOs, government bodies, and internal teams. A key goal is promoting a culture of employee volunteerism and workplace sustainability within Recytronics.

5. Communication and Brand Enhancement

You will collaborate with marketing and communications teams to effectively highlight CSR achievements across various platforms—reports, media, social channels, newsletters, and the corporate website—significantly strengthening the company's public image as a responsible corporate citizen.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Sociology, Public Policy, Environmental Science, or Sustainability.

• Experience:

  • CSR Executive: 2–5 years of experience in CSR, NGO partnerships, or related functions.

  • CSR Manager: 5–10 years of experience in the sector.

• Preference will be given to candidates familiar with CSR legal requirements, especially those outlined in the Companies Act Schedule VII activities.
