As a technical support partner for UNFPA, BGMS is instrumental in rolling out the Life Skills Education program in Government State Board Schools and ITIs throughout Madhya Pradesh. Your Role: Data Analyst cum Documentation Officer
This pivotal position is perfect for a dynamic and grounded professional with at least 2 years of experience in data analysis, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), or program documentation within the development sector. You'll be crucial in ensuring effective program oversight, data-driven decision-making, and impactful reporting for the Life Skills Education Program.
Key responsibilities include:
Data Analysis & Management: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing program data from diverse sources, identifying trends, evaluating data quality, and creating compelling data visualization dashboards and reports. You'll also be responsible for maintaining and updating M&E databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Documentation & Reporting: Preparing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for stakeholders, detailing key findings, and developing impactful case studies and success stories from the field. This also involves producing presentations, infographics, and other communication materials based on program data.
Coordination & Support: Collaborating closely with program and field teams to ensure timely data collection, offering data-driven insights and recommendations to support program execution, and coordinating with government departments and partners for seamless data exchange.
Digital & Technical Assistance: Utilizing data management tools, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets, and assisting in automating reports and dashboards for enhanced efficiency. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, and statistical analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, or R, would be a strong asset.
Who We're Looking For
If you hold a Post Graduate degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field, and have a proven track record in data analysis and documentation within the development sector, this could be your next significant role. Strong analytical capabilities, excellent report writing skills in both English and Hindi, and experience in crafting engaging case studies and impact stories are essential.

Compensation
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from Rs. 42,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month, depending on experience. Official travel will be reimbursed as per organizational policies.
