Job Overview: Distribution Supervisor / Officer / Executive
The core responsibility of this role is to streamline and manage the logistics and supply chain network, ensuring that hot, nutritious meals reach school children safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet & Route Management: Ensure the availability of all vehicles according to pre-route plans, handle vehicle fueling, maintain precise records, and follow up on route-wise VMT.
Logistics & Delivery: Oversee logistics and dispatching operations for timely food delivery to associated schools.
Team Leadership: Manage logistics manpower, train personnel for zero safety violations, and ensure zero on-road incidents or accidents.
Billing & Documentation: Manage monthly Patrak collections, prepare bills, submit government bills on time, ensure CTSS collection, and maintain complete driver documentation/licensing.
Public Relations & Feedback: Visit schools regularly to maintain PR with school officials, handle customer complaints, ensure quick closures, and properly escalate school feedback.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Akshaya Patra is looking for organized, proactive individuals who can handle fast-paced distribution schedules.
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience working in the logistics or distribution industry (Freshers with relevant skills are welcome to apply).
Technical Skills: Strong command over MS Office (specifically Excel and Word) and good overall documentation skills.
Soft Skills: Exceptional team handling, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
