SAMS, a premier management consultancy specializing in India’s Public Health and Development Sectors, is seeking eight dedicated professionals for a crucial, ICMR-funded project. This initiative focuses on developing an AI solution to automate anthropometric measurements for young children (aged 0-3 years), a vital step in enhancing child health and nutrition outcomes nationwide.
Your Role: Leading Field Operations
As a District Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of this groundbreaking project, ensuring the accurate and timely collection of essential data. Your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and overseeing field activities within your assigned district, collaborating closely with State Coordinators and Program Officers.
Supervising and guiding Field Investigators to facilitate efficient and precise data collection processes.
Monitoring project progress and promptly addressing any challenges to ensure adherence to timelines and protocols.
Actively participating in data collection efforts, maintaining rigorous quality standards.
Engaging with relevant officials and stakeholders, meticulously documenting progress, and submitting regular reports.
Extensive travel within your assigned district is an integral part of this dynamic position.
Who We're Looking For: Skills and Experience
SAMS and NEN are seeking individuals who possess a strong blend of academic background and practical experience:
Qualifications:
12th grade completion combined with a diploma in Science, Psychology, Public Health, Anthropology, Social Work, or Sociology, plus two years of relevant experience.
OR a three-year graduate degree in Social Science or Life Science (with specialization in Psychology, Public Health, Anthropology, Social Work, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry), coupled with one year of relevant experience.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated experience in anthropometric data collection.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Prior experience utilizing data collection applications.
Desirable Attributes:
Previous experience in data collection for field studies.
Familiarity with the local language will be highly beneficial.
Applicants should be 45 years old or younger.
Compensation and Engagement Details
This is a full-time consultancy role with SAMS, with the contract concluding on November 24, 2025. The professional fee is set at Rs. 23,400 per month, subject to applicable tax deductions. Additionally, a monthly travel reimbursement of up to Rs. 8,000 will be provided, based on actual expenses incurred.
