The foundation is looking for dedicated individuals to join their team for an 8-month project duration. With a focus on community empowerment and health initiatives, these roles offer a unique opportunity to work closely with local tribal communities and leaders.
Open Positions and Job Details
DiYA Foundation is currently recruiting for three distinct roles. All positions are based in the scenic but remote regions of the East Khasi Hills.
1. Project Manager (1 Position)
The Project Manager will be the cornerstone of the program, ensuring that all project deliverables are met efficiently and in alignment with organizational goals.
Salary: 4.5 to 5 LPA
Key Requirements: MSW or Masters in Childhood Care (or equivalent) with 1–2 years of experience. Alternatively, a graduate in any discipline with 3–4 years of experience in community development.
Preferred Skills: Experience in Child Immunization is highly preferred.
Core Tasks: Strategy development, leading the program team, and liaising with local bodies, clan leaders, and churches.
2. Block Coordinator (2 Positions)
Block Coordinators are responsible for the smooth execution of activities within their assigned blocks.
Salary: 2.6 to 3.2 LPA
Key Requirements: MSW or equivalent, or a graduate with 1–2 years of experience in community development.
Core Tasks: Team coordination, project implementation at the block level, and maintaining relationships with local community stakeholders.
3. Community Mobilizers (8 Positions)
This role is ideal for those who love field work and direct community interaction.
Salary: 1.8 to 2.2 LPA
Key Requirements: Graduation in any discipline. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
Core Tasks: Building relationships with "Change Makers," collecting project data/case stories, and ensuring project milestones are met at the village level.
