Job Opening: Executive – Stores (Barsana, Uttar Pradesh)

Akshaya Patra is looking for an experienced and dynamic Stores Executive to manage both food and non-food store operations at its Barsana kitchen unit. This role is central to ensuring smooth daily manufacturing operations while maintaining strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide range of store operations and inventory management functions, including:

  • Supervising day-to-day operations of both food and non-food departments, ensuring shelves remain fully stocked, clean, and properly rotated

  • Managing the complete Goods Receipt Note (GRN) process in D-365 for food items

  • Handling the non-food consumption process in the D-365 system

  • Receiving and documenting non-food materials, including proper labeling with name and designation

  • Preparing material issue slips and submitting invoices along with the GRN register

  • Updating the Gate Pass Excel sheet regularly

  • Conducting regular stock audits and physical inventory counts

  • Ensuring proper product rotation methods such as FIFO and FEFO to manage expiration dates and perishability of food items

  • Verifying physical deliveries against supplier invoices and purchase orders before generating system GRNs

  • Managing and documenting RGP/NRGP (Returnable and Non-Returnable Gate Pass) processes accurately

  • Enforcing HACCP standards, food hygiene protocols, and cold chain compliance across all food sections

  • Driving process excellence initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, GHP, and TPM within store operations

  • Ensuring workplace safety and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations

  • Identifying areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce operational waste

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: B.Com./M.Com. or an equivalent degree

  • Experience: 1–2 years of progressive experience in stores management, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments

  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of stores operations, food safety practices, and inventory control processes
