The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between field-level health interventions and robust data management. This position demands a unique blend of leadership, community coordination, and technical data proficiency to ensure the success of vital health programs.
Key Responsibilities
A Field and Data Manager at CYDA handles a diverse portfolio of tasks divided between field operations and analytical reporting:
Field Support & Supervision: Supervise and support Village Health Workers (VHWs) and field staff during the implementation of anemia camps, routine follow-ups, and Village Health, Sanitation, and Nutrition Day (VHSND) participation.
Community Coordination: Organize and coordinate local awareness activities such as street plays, poster exhibitions, and Gram Panchayat (GP) meetings while maintaining accurate attendance records.
Stakeholder Liaison: Connect with Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Anganwadis, and Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) to gather critical data regarding Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM), Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM), routine immunization, and Iron and Folic Acid (IFA) distribution.
Data Architecture & Quality: Design, manage, verify, clean, and compile field data using specialized collection tools to maintain updated records on beneficiaries, health indicators, and outreach milestones.
Reporting & Analytics: Generate detailed data reports, comprehensive dashboards, and visual tools tailored for internal reviews and donor reporting.
Capacity Building: Train VHWs on standardized data protocols to ensure uniform record-keeping formats across all targeted villages.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Perform field visits for troubleshooting and mentoring staff, track baseline indicators, support program assessments, and collaborate with MIS teams or external evaluators to document major success stories.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for this role, CYDA is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Education: A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Social Work, Rural Development, or Data Management.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in field-level data management, preferably gained within health or nutrition-focused projects.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and mobile-based data collection tools.
Core Competencies: A strong preference is given to candidates with experience working closely with rural or tribal communities.
Language Skills: Excellent documentation and communication skills in Marathi and Hindi are essential.
