Key Job Responsibilities and Scope of Work
The selected Field Coordinator will serve as the primary link between Trust Community Livelihoods' strategic planning and field-level execution. The responsibilities of the role encompass project monitoring, training, institutional capacity building, and multi-stakeholder convergence:
Project Implementation & Monitoring: Execute, manage, and track community-based agriculture and livelihood development initiatives closely at the village level to ensure strict alignment with organizational goals.
Community Mentorship & Training: Mobilize, train, and mentor Community Resource Persons (CRPs) and dedicated women farmer groups to establish strong localized leadership.
Sustainable Agriculture Promotion: Introduce and promote improved agricultural practices, high-value crop cultivation, climate-resilient methodologies, and sustainable farming techniques that enhance yielding capacity while preserving local soil and ecological health.
Government Scheme Convergence: Conduct targeted farmer awareness campaigns and actively facilitate seamless access to essential government agricultural schemes, subsidies, and citizen entitlements.
Institutional Strengthening: Support local Producer Groups, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Mahila Kisan Sangathans in strengthening their institutional governance, operational workflows, and micro-enterprise frameworks.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate actively with local Gram Panchayats, state government departments, and other key rural development stakeholders to ensure smooth project convergence and programmatic synergy.
Data Integrity & Reporting: Systematically maintain precise field records, verify baseline/endline data points, and submit comprehensive, timely reports to the project management team.
Target Achievement: Monitor overall project velocity and operational indicators systematically to guarantee the timely achievement of designated field targets and community livelihood outcomes.
Candidate Requirements & Selection Criteria
TCL is seeking a self-motivated candidate with a strong baseline in agricultural sciences or community mobilization. Eligible candidates must fulfill the following qualification criteria:
Educational Background: A Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Work, or a closely related developmental discipline.
Professional Experience: 1 to 3 years of verifiable field experience managing agriculture, livelihoods, community mobilization, or rural development projects.
Domain Knowledge: A deep understanding of sustainable agricultural techniques, rural livelihood structures, government agrarian schemes, and institutional frameworks.
Technical & Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, field training capability, and community engagement skills, alongside proficiency in MS Office and modern digital data collection tools.
Field Mobility: A genuine willingness to reside in the target region and travel extensively across interior rural areas to engage directly with rural farming communities.
