Aakhyaan Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit working on inclusive and equitable communities, is recruiting five Field Support Team members in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The roles sit within its Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Women's Safety, Gender Equality and Community Protection project.

What the Team Will Do
The Field Support Team will carry out field-level activities that strengthen awareness, community participation, prevention, early identification of risks, and access to support and referral services. Its work centres on community mobilisation, awareness sessions and facilitation, referral support, stakeholder coordination, field documentation, and monitoring and reporting. Confidentiality, safeguarding, dignity and respectful engagement are expected throughout.
Day to day, team members will:
Engage regularly with women, adolescent girls, youth leaders and other stakeholders
Run awareness sessions on GBV, gender equality, women's rights, safety and available support services
Identify community-level concerns, protection issues and emerging risks, and report them to the Programme Manager
Coordinate with the Police, Panchayati Raj Institutions, government departments and community institutions
Work with the Women's Resource Centre (WRC) and referral mechanisms so women and girls can reach appropriate services
Prepare daily and weekly field work plans and activity schedules
Maintain attendance records, photographs, activity reports and other programme documentation
Involve men, boys, youth, community leaders and influencers in conversations on gender equality and violence prevention
Support the development and use of session plans, IEC materials and community-based learning activities
Document field observations, participant feedback, key discussions and emerging learning
Who Should Apply
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology or a related field, with 4 to 5 years of relevant field experience, preferably in women's rights, gender or community mobilisation. They must be willing to travel extensively within the project area and understand confidentiality, safeguarding and professional boundaries.
The Foundation also lists a set of key competencies: community mobilisation, GBV and gender equality, women's rights and protection, awareness and facilitation, case identification and referral, WRC coordination, government and stakeholder engagement, field coordination, safeguarding, documentation and reporting, monitoring and learning, communication and teamwork, problem solving, and field outreach.
