As the foundation enters its fourth year, funding has crossed ₹3 crore, and the organisation has secured its first CSR grant — a milestone that signals growing trust from donors and a widening scope of impact.
With this growth comes a new kind of responsibility. Rather than continuing to outsource its accounting, the foundation is bringing its finance function in-house, and it needs an experienced Finance Manager to lead that transition.
What the Role Involves
This isn't a narrow bookkeeping position — it's a chance to own end-to-end financial operations for a Section 8 nonprofit that's scaling fast. Core responsibilities include:
Books of account and reconciliations: Managing day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime, along with monthly closing and bank reconciliations.
Statutory compliance: Handling TDS, income tax filings, and 80G donation compliance specific to Section 8 companies.
CSR fund management: Overseeing CSR fund accounting, preparing utilisation certificates, and managing donor reporting — critical given the organisation's newly won CSR grant.
Payroll and statutory deductions: Running payroll along with PF, ESIC, and Maharashtra Profession Tax compliance.
Audit and regulatory coordination: Liaising on audits, ROC filings, and preparing the organisation for FCRA readiness as it grows its funding base.
Team leadership: Guiding a Finance Associate as accounting work transitions in-house from the foundation's CA firm.
Who Should Apply

2–5 years of experience in accounting and compliance
