The Role: A Catalyst for Rural Growth

As an FPO Executive, you will be more than just an employee; you will be a crucial link between Arya.ag's innovative solutions and the farmers on the ground. Your primary objective will be to work directly with Farmer Producer Organisations to streamline their operations, enhance their capabilities, and ensure their sustainable growth. This role involves being on the field, building trust, and driving initiatives that directly boost farmer livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• On-Ground Operations: Forge strong partnerships with FPOs and local stakeholders to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

• Post-Harvest Leadership: Spearhead critical activities including procurement, aggregation of produce, and efficient post-harvest management.

• Capacity Building: Design and lead training programs aimed at strengthening the business and operational skills of FPOs.

• Data-Driven Decisions: Maintain a robust Management Information System (MIS) and document field data to inform strategy and measure impact.

• Internal Coordination: Collaborate effectively with internal Arya.ag teams to align field activities with overarching business goals.

Who We Are Looking For: The Ideal Candidate

Arya.ag is searching for a professional who combines agricultural knowledge with strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a genuine commitment to rural development.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Rural Management, Agri-Business Management, or a related discipline.

• Relevant Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working directly with FPOs, agri-based rural institutions, or in the agri-tech sector.

• Communication Skills: Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect effectively with rural stakeholders.

• Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of agricultural supply chains, commodity procurement, and post-harvest best practices.

• Local Expertise: Proficiency in the local language of the respective region and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
