Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will oversee project planning, implementation, monitoring, and documentation for child and youth-centric initiatives. Key duties include:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Developing and executing monthly, quarterly, and annual project work plans.

  • Coordinating daily project activities and ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and organizational policies.

  • Tracking basic budgets, monitoring utilization alongside the Regional Manager, and identifying potential risks or delays.

2. Field Team & Operational Support

  • Providing operational guidance to facilitators and field teams.

  • Planning and facilitating workshops, meetings, exposure visits, and training sessions for children, youth, teachers, and community members.

  • Conducting regular field visits to supervise operations and guarantee high-quality implementation.

3. Stakeholder Management & Partnerships

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, government departments, partners, and community stakeholders.

  • Representing the organization in meetings and sharing on-ground feedback with project leadership.

  • Identifying local opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, donor visits, and outreach campaigns.

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Collecting, verifying, and compiling field data to prepare internal and donor reports.

  • Maintaining detailed records of attendance, training outcomes, field challenges, case studies, and success stories.

  • Supplying content, updates, and photos for internal communications, social media, and advocacy initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Education, or a related field. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and strong relevant field experience may also be considered.

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in project coordination or implementation, ideally within child/youth development, life skills, education, or financial inclusion programs.

  • Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and basic data management tools.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to local field locations.
