Core Responsibilities
The selected Gender Experts will be pivotal in driving the organization's mission forward. Primary duties include:
Programmatic Leadership: Designing and implementing programs with a focus on gender equity.
Capacity Building: Providing technical support and building expertise on gender perspectives within the team and community.
Networking: Building alliances with NGOs, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and community stakeholders.
Research & Documentation: Conducting in-depth research specifically related to women’s land rights and sustainable livelihoods.
Impact Tracking: Leading monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes.
Requirements and Eligibility
Vasundhara is looking for candidates who combine academic excellence with practical field experience.
Gender: Open to Female Candidates Only.
Education: A Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Women’s Studies, Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, or Environmental Law.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Essential Skills:
Strong grasp of gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) frameworks.
Practical knowledge of the Forest Rights Act and women-related laws.
Proven ability to work with diverse communities and facilitate grassroots implementation.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
