Core Responsibilities

The selected Gender Experts will be pivotal in driving the organization's mission forward. Primary duties include:

  • Programmatic Leadership: Designing and implementing programs with a focus on gender equity.

  • Capacity Building: Providing technical support and building expertise on gender perspectives within the team and community.

  • Networking: Building alliances with NGOs, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and community stakeholders.

  • Research & Documentation: Conducting in-depth research specifically related to women’s land rights and sustainable livelihoods.

  • Impact Tracking: Leading monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes.

Requirements and Eligibility

Vasundhara is looking for candidates who combine academic excellence with practical field experience.

  • Gender: Open to Female Candidates Only.

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Women’s Studies, Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, or Environmental Law.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Essential Skills:

    • Strong grasp of gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) frameworks.

    • Practical knowledge of the Forest Rights Act and women-related laws.

    • Proven ability to work with diverse communities and facilitate grassroots implementation.

    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
