Driving Impact Through Data: Join Development Consortium's Mission to Save Newborn Lives

Are you a leader passionate about leveraging data for social good? Development Consortium (DC), in partnership with Ansh, is searching for a dedicated Head of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator to spearhead our mission of transforming maternal and newborn care across India. This full-time position, with a competitive salary of 10-16 lakhs per annum, offers a unique opportunity to use your skills for a cause that saves lives.

We are a non-profit organization committed to empowering vulnerable communities, and our collaborative program with Ansh is at the forefront of this effort. Our core intervention, Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC), is a scientifically proven, cost-effective method that has been shown to reduce neonatal mortality by an estimated 33-50%.

About the Role

As the Head of M&E, you will be crucial to our success. Your work will directly enhance the effectiveness and scalability of our interventions in government district hospitals. You will lead a team of M&E Coordinators and be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from system design to analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Management and Analysis: You'll design and manage M&E tools and systems, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity. You will use statistical software and data visualization tools to transform complex data into actionable insights for program planning and decision-making.

  • Team Management: You will lead and mentor a team of M&E Coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Your guidance will ensure the team has the necessary skills and support to excel in their roles.

  • Strategic Oversight: You'll work closely with the Project Director and other senior staff, including the CEO, to drive a data-driven approach throughout the organization. Your insights will inform strategic decisions and help us scale our life-saving work.

We are looking for a high-agency, proactive professional with a strong foundation in analytical skills. While a degree in a relevant field like public health or statistics is preferred, we are more interested in your potential and ability to grow quickly. You should be fluent in both English and Hindi.

Why Join Us?

This isn't just a job; it's a chance to make a tangible difference. At Development Consortium, we value purpose-driven work, continuous growth, and a culture built on empathy, transparency, and accountability.

We offer:

  • Career Growth: Take on a leadership role in a growing organization with plans to expand to more districts.

  • Impact: Work closely with beneficiaries and see the direct results of your efforts.
