Your Role: A Comprehensive Journey in HR Operations

As an HR Executive Trainee, you'll gain invaluable hands-on experience across the entire spectrum of human resources. This full-time, on-site position, reporting to the ED and PI Finance, offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to a vital cause. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: You'll be instrumental in the recruitment process, from drafting precise job descriptions and posting advertisements to managing the hiring pipeline and implementing effective onboarding plans, including issuing appointment letters and conducting orientation.

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete employee journey, ensuring smooth transitions from initial recruitment through to exit formalities, including the timely processing of Full and Final (FNF) settlements.

  • Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain meticulous employee files in both digital and physical formats, ensuring strict adherence to organizational policies and legal requirements. You'll also provide guidance to management on updating and implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • HR Operational Support: Provide essential counseling on policies and procedures to employees, assist in developing and delivering training and development programs to enhance staff skills, support performance management processes (including appraisals and feedback), and aid in the timely resolution of disciplinary and grievance issues.

  • System & Policy Enhancement: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems designed to boost organizational efficiency. You'll also recommend and implement policy updates aligned with organizational needs and evolving legal guidelines.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate clear and effective communication between senior management and employees, coordinate with key committees like the Internal Committee (PoSH) and Steering Committee, and ensure seamless coordination between new hires and their respective hiring managers for timely onboarding.

Who We're Looking For:

Sir Syed Trust is seeking a proactive and skilled individual with:

  • Education: An MBA in HR, MSW in HR, or PMIR from a UGC-approved university or college.

  • Experience: 0-5 years of experience in the HR domain. Candidates with prior experience in the non-profit field will be given preference.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong foundational knowledge of recruitment, documentation, management, and compliance requirements specific to non-profit organizations.

  • Essential Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. You should be adept at handling multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and proficient in various HR tools and MS Office applications. A willingness to travel to rural/remote areas for fieldwork is crucial, along with strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
