The Opportunity: Cultivating HR Excellence
The Human Resources Associate holds a central position in ensuring the seamless delivery of HR services across diverse business units. Collaborating closely with the Senior Business Partner, Human Resources, and in coordination with Program Managers, this role offers a comprehensive scope of responsibilities. You'll also provide essential support to Corporate Services departments and, when needed, lend your expertise to International Programs.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Policy Guidance: Offering expert advice to staff on HR policies, employee manuals, and best practices, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
Support & Resolution: Managing and responding to US and International helpdesk ticket inquiries, delivering prompt and effective resolutions.
Talent Lifecycle Management: Facilitating critical recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, which includes conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews.
Data Stewardship: Maintaining precise personnel records and serving as a reliable point of contact for HRIS inquiries, with particular emphasis on Paylocity.
Performance & Leave Oversight: Partnering with managers on performance management strategies and meticulously tracking employee leave.
Operational Enhancement: Supporting broader HR initiatives designed to optimize operational efficiency within the organization.

MCD Global Health is searching for a highly skilled and experienced HR professional with a profound dedication to public health.
Successful candidates will typically possess:
Academic Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is essential; a Master's degree is a distinct advantage.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is required, with a preference for prior involvement with NGOs or donor-funded projects. Experience in US or international non-profit projects is also highly valued.
Linguistic Proficiency: Bilingual fluency in French is highly preferred, reflecting the organization's extensive global reach.
HRIS Competency: Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS systems, specifically Paylocity, is a key requirement.
Legal Acumen: A robust understanding of HR best practices and employment law at both the Federal and state levels.
