About the Role
As a Field Coordinator – Agriculture, you will work at the grassroots level, directly engaging with farming communities to drive sustainable agricultural practices and strengthen rural livelihoods. This role sits at the intersection of agriculture, community mobilization, and project management, making it ideal for candidates who want hands-on, field-based work with measurable social impact.
Location: Uttar Pradesh & Bihar
Experience Required: 1–3 years
Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Work, or a related field
Key Responsibilities
The Field Coordinator will play a central role in implementing agriculture and livelihood initiatives, including:
Implementing and monitoring agriculture and livelihood project activities at the village level
Mobilizing, training, and mentoring Community Resource Persons (CRPs) and women farmer groups
Promoting improved agricultural practices, high-value crops, and sustainable farming techniques
Conducting farmer awareness programs and facilitating access to government schemes and entitlements
Supporting Producer Groups, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Mahila Kisan Sangathans in strengthening their institutional and enterprise capacity
Coordinating with Panchayats, government departments, and other stakeholders for project convergence
Maintaining field records, verifying data, and submitting timely reports
Monitoring project progress to ensure targets and outcomes are achieved
What TCL is Looking For
Ideal candidates should bring a mix of technical knowledge and people skills:
A degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Work, or a related discipline
1–3 years of experience in agriculture, livelihoods, community mobilization, or rural development projects
Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture, government schemes, and farmer institutions
Excellent communication, training, and community engagement abilities
Proficiency in MS Office and digital data collection tools
Willingness to travel and be based in rural areas
