About the Opportunity
Smile Foundation is currently undertaking a significant digital transformation to maximize its reach and effectiveness across its programs in education, healthcare, livelihood, and women empowerment. The IT & Digital Transformation Associate will be a critical player in this mission.
This role isn't just about maintaining systems; it's about strategizing and enabling digital initiatives. You'll be bridging the gap between technical possibilities and real-world program needs, ensuring that technology serves the foundation's goal of benefiting over 2 million children and families annually.
Key Responsibilities: Technology Meets Social Impact
The Associate will report to the AGM – IT and focus on three core areas:
Digital Transformation Support: Help plan and execute organization-wide digital initiatives. This includes finding opportunities for process automation and supporting the adoption of enterprise applications like CRM, BI tools, and collaboration platforms.
Technology & Systems Management: Ensure the smooth running of the IT infrastructure, including cloud environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), and manage vendor relationships for tech solutions.
Data-Driven Decision Support: Play a vital role in strengthening the foundation’s capacity for data-driven planning and reporting. You will help leadership gain valuable insights by supporting data analysis and visualization initiatives, maintaining the integrity and accessibility of information.
Crucially, you will be the link between the IT department and non-technical teams—including fundraising, programs, and operations—translating organizational requirements into clear technical specifications and supporting user training.
Who Should Apply?
Smile Foundation is looking for candidates with a strong blend of technical aptitude and strategic thinking.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in IT, digital systems, or data/analytics roles.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, an ability to quickly grasp new technologies, and excellent communication skills are essential. Prior exposure to CRM, ERP, or BI tools (like Salesforce or Power BI) is a plus.
