CYDA Is Hiring a Junior Agriculture Officer in Dahanu
CYDA (Centre for Youth Development and Activities), known by its tagline "The Pulse of YOUNG India", has announced an opening for a Junior Agriculture Officer based in Dahanu. The role suits agriculture graduates and diploma holders who want to work directly with farmers and rural communities.
About the Role
The Junior Agriculture Officer will support agriculture-related projects and field activities, working mostly in the field. Day to day, the officer will:
Visit farms regularly and interact with farmers and community members.
Help plan and run farmer training and awareness activities.
Collect and maintain field-level data, farmer records and project documentation.
Monitor agriculture activities and report progress to the project team.
Coordinate with local stakeholders, farmer groups and relevant government departments.
Help organise farmer meetings, workshops and training programmes.
Take up other agriculture-related responsibilities assigned by the project team.
The role combines fieldwork, community engagement and documentation. The officer is the link between the project team and the farmers it serves.
Who Can Apply
Candidates should hold a B.Sc. in Agriculture, a Diploma in Agriculture, or a relevant qualification.
