The Core of the Mission: Driving Growth and Sustainability
The Junior Communications Officer role is pivotal to ensuring the long-term financial stability and outreach that allows MMC to expand its crucial work. The position focuses heavily on resource mobilization and strengthening stakeholder relationships, making it central to the organization's sustainability.
Key responsibilities are diverse and impactful:
Fundraising Strategy: Developing and implementing a robust strategy to secure resources from diverse funding streams.
Donor & Grant Management: Drafting compelling proposals for grant-making and funding agencies, while nurturing strong relationships with corporate, institutional, and individual donors.
Content Creation: Producing essential communication materials, including the Annual Report, newsletters, brochures, and presentations, to clearly articulate MMC's impact.
External Communications: Assisting with outreach to crucial stakeholders, including the media, government, and funding agencies.
Partnership Coordination: Managing and coordinating volunteer and partnership initiatives with corporations, NGOs, and other institutions that add value to the programs.

MMC is looking for a professional who is not only skilled but also deeply committed to the mission of early childhood education and child welfare.
Ideal candidates should possess:
A graduate degree, with a preference for candidates with an MBA (Marketing), Mass Communication, MSW, or BSW.
Proven fundraising experience is a significant advantage.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of English.
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, including a comfort with professional presentations and meeting new people.
A detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated approach.
Proficiency in essential office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
