The Critical Role: Data, Impact, and Reporting
As the Manager – M&E and Documentation, you will report directly to the Project Lead and be the backbone for ensuring the project’s data is timely, accurate, and translated into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Data Synthesis and Reporting: Compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing complex program data into high-quality, visually compelling reports, briefs, dashboards, and presentations for a wide range of audiences.
Data Quality Assurance: Rigorously assessing and monitoring data quality metrics to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to verification and validation standards.
Framework Implementation: Supporting the development and execution of robust M&E frameworks and tools designed to track project performance effectively.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring full compliance with donor requirements and project timelines.
Knowledge Management: Contributing actively to the dissemination of lessons learned and best practices to inform future public health strategies.
Who Americares India Is Looking For
This demanding yet rewarding position requires a specific educational background and professional experience:
Education: A Postgraduate degree in Public Health (MPH), Health Management, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution is essential.
Experience: A minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience in public health programs, with demonstrated, non-negotiable expertise in data analysis, M&E, and reporting. Exposure to AMR, surveillance, or health systems strengthening projects is a strong advantage.
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Excel and at least one statistical software (SPSS, Stata, R, or similar).
Proven experience in writing technical reports, policy briefs, and donor documentation.
Strong ability to use data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The position offers a competitive compensation package up to ₹12 lakhs per annum, with travel required within Goa (approximately 30%).
