This crucial role acts as the vital link between on-ground field execution and rigorous program and data management, making it perfect for an individual comfortable in both the natural environment and with complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities: Leading Afforestation and Carbon Management

The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the full lifecycle of large-scale afforestation and restoration projects. This is a dynamic role where you will:

• Lead Project Execution: Drive end-to-end afforestation and restoration initiatives, ensuring scientific rigor and quality execution in close collaboration with field teams.

• Carbon Offset Management: Manage critical carbon sequestration data and actively support the organization's carbon credit processes, contributing directly to climate mitigation efforts.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze large datasets including survival rates, growth monitoring, and advanced GIS/tagging information. Use this data to prepare detailed technical reports and impact assessments for SayTrees’ leading CSR partners.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key coordinator between corporate partners, field operations, and technical experts.

SayTrees is seeking a professional with a solid foundation and relevant experience to drive these critical programs:

Feature Requirement Experience2–3 years in environmental or development sector projects. Education Background in Forestry, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.Skills Strong data management skills (proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is mandatory).Knowledge Understanding of carbon markets and offset mechanisms is essential. Mindset Comfortable with frequent field visits and a clear communicator with a collaborative approach.Location On-site in Bangalore.
