Empowering Health Initiatives: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Wanted at Etawah Network for PLHIV/AIDS

Are you an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) professional looking to make a significant impact in the public health sector? The Etawah Network for People Living With HIV/AIDS (ENP+) is actively seeking a dedicated M&E cum Training Officer to join their team in Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. This critical role focuses on enhancing data management and reporting for vital programs funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM).

What Will You Be Doing?

The M&E cum Training Officer will be key to managing and optimizing ENP+'s Management Information System (MIS) and M&E frameworks. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Data Oversight & Reporting: You'll manage daily data operations, ensure timely reporting across all GFATM grant components, and build the capacity of field staff in data handling.

  • Quality Assurance: Implementing consistent M&E systems statewide and conducting regular data quality audits at the district level will be crucial.

  • Feedback & Support: Providing constructive feedback and guidance to Community Service Center (CSC) coordinators and Community Health Liaison staff will be essential for improving data management and quality.

  • Inter-agency Coordination: You'll coordinate with DAPCU/SACS - M&E and other officials to reconcile data in SOCH and ensure timely data collection.

  • Technical Assistance: Expect to conduct field visits, offering technical support to program and site staff to boost reporting accuracy and data quality.

  • Capacity Building: A significant part of your role will involve training the State Project Manager, CSC coordinator, and CLH on program MIS systems, M&E activities, data recording, validation, triangulation, and quality assurance.

Who Are They Looking For?

ENP+ is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in M&E, ideally with experience from communities of People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) or Key Populations (KP). Here are the key qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A graduate or postgraduate degree in Human Studies or Statistics.

  • Professional Experience: At least three years of experience in the M&E field.

  • Software Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge and working experience with analytical and data collection/processing software packages such as Access, Power BI, and SPSS.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both English and the regional language are a must.

  • Travel Readiness: A willingness to travel extensively across the state is required for this role.
