About the Role: The Backbone of Project Monitoring
The MIS Officer is the pivotal point for all project data and information management. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and utilising the project's Management Information System (MIS) to ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive reporting. This role is essential for effective programme monitoring, decision-making, and meeting donor accountability standards.
Key Responsibilities You Will Undertake:
System Management: Develop, implement, and manage robust MIS formats and data collection systems tailored to the project's health and wellbeing indicators.
Data Compilation & Analysis: Compile, clean, and analyse data gathered from various field locations, turning raw information into actionable insights.
Database Maintenance: Accurately maintain crucial databases, including beneficiary registration and referral tracking systems.
Quality & Compliance: Guarantee the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of all project data, ensuring full compliance with organisational policies and donor requirements.
Reporting & Support: Generate essential reports and dashboards for programme managers and donors, and provide vital data support during monitoring visits, evaluations, and external audits.
Who Should Apply?

Essential Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Statistics, or Social Sciences.
Experience: 3–5 years of demonstrable experience in MIS, data analysis, or data management, preferably within a non-profit or development project setting.
Skills: Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory, along with a proven ability to analyse complex datasets and present findings clearly and effectively.
Preference: Candidates belonging to or currently residing in Jharkhand and Bihar are strongly preferred.
