The PanIIT Alumni Reach for Jharkhand (PREJHA) Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mobilization Executive to join their team in Jharkhand. This unique role offers a chance to make a tangible difference by connecting young people with life-changing vocational training opportunities.

About the Opportunity

The PREJHA Foundation, a not-for-profit organization partnered with the Government of Jharkhand, is at the forefront of skill development through its flagship initiatives: Kalyan Gurukuls and Kaushal Colleges. These residential programs provide comprehensive vocational training and guaranteed job placements for underprivileged youth, transforming lives and communities.

As a Mobilization Executive, you will be a key player in this mission, acting as the bridge between rural youth and these vital programs. Your primary goal will be to conduct grassroots-level outreach in villages and panchayats to ensure a steady stream of candidates for training. This isn't just a job; it's a commitment to building a brighter future for Jharkhand's youth.

Key Responsibilities and Impact

The role requires a proactive and strategic individual with a deep understanding of rural communities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Building Networks: Cultivating strong relationships with local leaders, village volunteers, and NGOs to expand your reach.

  • Leading a Team: Managing and guiding a network of 10-15 village volunteers to meet monthly mobilization targets.

  • Driving Results: Strategically addressing challenges to ensure consistent lead generation and successful enrollment.

  • Data-Driven Approach: Maintaining a detailed database of potential candidates to optimize outreach efforts.

  • Collaboration: Working closely with government departments and the PREJHA Head Office to streamline operations.

The position is field-based, requiring regular travel across two to three neighboring blocks in Jharkhand. If you thrive on community engagement and are motivated by seeing your efforts lead to real-world change, this role is an excellent fit.

Who Should Apply?

  • Proven experience in mobilizing rural youth for training or livelihood programs.

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.

  • A strong commitment to community service and a passion for rural development.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with local Jharkhandi languages like Santali or Ho, as this will be a significant asset in community engagement.

Compensation and Inclusivity

The role offers a competitive compensation package of Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 per month (CTC), which includes performance-based incentives and travel allowances.

The PREJHA Foundation is committed to gender equality, diversity, and inclusivity. They strongly encourage applications from women, tribal communities, and other marginalized groups, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of Jharkhand.
