The Banaras Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS Society (BNP+) is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (M&E CSC).

Since its registration in 2006, BNP+ has championed a holistic and participatory approach to community empowerment, prioritizing the needs of those affected by HIV/AIDS.

Key Role and Responsibilities

The M&E CSC role is central to the effective operation and reporting of the CSC 2.0 program. This officer will be the guardian of data quality and reporting integrity.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Management and Reporting: Collaborating closely with the Project Coordinator (PC) and CSC 2.0 staff for the timely compilation of program reports and data. This involves using prescribed tools/MIS systems to generate, prepare, and submit reports to the Senior Representative (SR).

  • Data Quality and Validation: Ensuring the validation and tracking of data. You will share any shortcomings or discrepancies with Project Coordinators to drive program improvement.

  • Field Support: Providing essential support to the Outreach team for data recording and field validation.

  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with the Project Coordinator and CSC 2.0 team for all reporting and program support needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

BNP+ is looking for a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also possesses the integrity required for this sensitive sector.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree or a Computer diploma/certificate with proven experience in data management.

  • Prior working exposure in the healthcare sector will be a significant advantage.

Essential Competencies & Skills:

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS-OFFICE (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and using the Internet is mandatory.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hindi.

  • Integrity: A critical ability to maintain data confidentiality.

  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills to effectively share findings and reports.
