The SHAKTHI project is a crucial, three-year initiative focused on improving the health status of tribal communities in Bakawand through integrated community-based prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of ailments. As the M&E Officer, you'll be the linchpin ensuring the project's effectiveness, quality, and accountability. Your work will translate field data into evidence-based reports, directly supporting informed decision-making by the Project Coordinator and donor agencies.

The M&E Officer will oversee the full cycle of data management and reporting for the SHAKTHI project. Key responsibilities include:

  • Framework Development: Establishing and implementing comprehensive Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks aligned with both project and donor requirements.

  • Performance Tracking: Routinely tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all disease components.

  • Data Quality & Oversight: Designing data collection tools and systems for Community Health Workers (CHWs), Physiotherapists, and staff nurses.

  • Field Engagement: Conducting regular field visits to verify reported outputs, ensure data quality, and assess the effectiveness of service delivery on the ground.

  • Capacity Building: Leading training sessions for field staff and nurses on M&E tools, processes, and accurate reporting formats.

  • Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing project data to generate timely and comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal review and external stakeholders.

  • System Integration: Coordinating with team members and government officials to integrate project data with public health systems where appropriate.
