The selected MEL Expert will be a key player in IPE Global’s Social and Economic Empowerment (SEE) practice. The project focuses on effectively addressing barriers to women's entry and advancement in the workforce, with the ultimate goal of fostering women-led development throughout the country.

The role requires a strategic thinker who can design and implement a comprehensive MEL framework from the ground up. You will be responsible for reviewing project components, establishing robust monitoring mechanisms, and analyzing crucial data from sources like the Skill India Digital Hub and the Open Government Data Platform. A core responsibility will be the conceptualization and design of a National Gender Dashboard, a powerful tool to track key indicators of women's status in skilling, vocational education, and workforce participation.

What IPE Global Is Looking For

The ideal candidate will have an advanced university degree in Economics, Statistics, Demography, or a related field. With at least 12 years of professional experience at the national level, a significant portion of this should be focused on gender and skill development programs. You must be proficient in data analysis tools and have a proven history of collaborating with government ministries and departments.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in both English and Hindi are essential, as is the flexibility to travel extensively within India.
