Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
The selected candidate will be tasked with tracking project activities, compiling field-level data, and turning insights into actionable strategies. The responsibilities are categorized into three core areas:
1. Programme-Related Responsibilities
Project Tracking: Oversee documentation, coordination, and follow-ups for KAWACH project activities across Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling districts.
Strategic Planning: Assist the Child Protection desk in aligning 5-year strategic plans with CINI’s broader mission and vision.
Capacity Building: Guide District Coordinators in developing local action plans, and assist the Thematic Lead (CP) in organizing training workshops for project team members.
Cross-Learning: Facilitate the integration of standard CINI methods and policies (e.g., CFC, EHPNA) and promote knowledge-sharing among various project units.
2. Administrative Duties
Manage and align project workflows to meet programmatic and financial deadlines.
Organize monthly team meetings and handle weekly report compilations.
3. Core Deliverables
Submit accurate Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs) and Child Protection (CPC) reports to the Thematic Lead on time.
Assist in the production of Annual Reports, Newsletters, Case Studies, and IEC development materials.
Collect, analyze, and interpret field-level child protection data to generate data-driven reports (MIS, Narrative, IPMS) for stakeholders and project reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
CINI is looking for a self-motivated professional who meets the following educational and skill requirements:
Educational Qualification & Experience
Degree: Postgraduate degree in Social Science or a relevant field (equivalent experience in a similar domain will be considered).
Experience: Minimum three years of experience working with MEL or Child Protection Programmes in West Bengal.
Bonus: Prior internship or volunteer experience in the development sector is a distinct advantage.
Desired Competencies
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Bangla; knowledge of Hindi is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro is also required.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, along with excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Bangla.
Travel: Ability and willingness to travel as per organizational and field requirements.
