Your Contribution: Spearheading Agricultural Advancement

As the National FPO Mission Manager, you'll be a pivotal driver of change. This leadership position calls for a strategic mind with deep expertise in agriculture, rural development, and effective stakeholder engagement. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Program Leadership: Guiding the development and execution of initiatives designed to empower FPOs, refine post-harvest practices, and forge robust market connections.

  • Team and Stakeholder Collaboration: Leading a dedicated project team and cultivating strong working relationships with state-level teams and government bodies.

  • Government Relations & Compliance: Serving as the key link between our organization, central and state governments, and other relevant agencies to ensure smooth operations and adherence to regulations.

  • FPO Growth & Support: Monitoring the progress of FPOs, ensuring they access eligible government scheme benefits, and offering strategic guidance for their economic sustainability.

  • Impact Monitoring & Evaluation: Designing and implementing robust mechanisms to track project advancements and demonstrate tangible results.

  • Executive Reporting: Delivering insightful reports and recommendations to senior management for continuous program refinement.

Ideal Candidate Profile: A Seasoned Professional

To thrive in this critical role, you should bring:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (BSc Agri) or an MBA with a specialization in Rural Management.

  • Extensive Sector Experience: Over 15 years of progressive experience in policy formulation, oversight, and monitoring within the agricultural domain, with a strong emphasis on FPOs, post-harvest management, and agri-marketing.

  • Industry Acumen: In-depth understanding of the agricultural sector, FPOs, post-harvest processes, and rural development dynamics.

  • Leadership & Communication Skills: Proven leadership capabilities, coupled with exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management expertise.

  • Policy Knowledge: Strong familiarity with government schemes and policies relevant to agriculture and rural development.

  • Project Management Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in project management and monitoring tools, alongside a high degree of initiative and accountability.

  • Age Requirement: Candidates must be 45 years of age or younger.
