The Role: Natural Resource Management Expert

As the NRM Expert, you will be at the forefront of planning and implementing interventions focused on soil and water conservation. The goal is to bridge the gap between technical expertise and field-based execution to promote long-term agricultural sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the technical aspects of NRM and civil works. Primary duties include:

  • Strategic Planning: Designing and supervising soil and water conservation-focused NRM interventions.

  • Farmer Engagement: Working closely with local farmers to deliver context-specific solutions and build their capacities through regular training.

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Overseeing implementation, managing documentation, updating MIS, and ensuring timely reporting of project outputs and outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborating with various stakeholders for integrated interventions.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: A Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience: At least three years of professional experience in Natural Resource Management.

    • Willingness to undertake extensive field travel.
