To meet this demand, the Seva Tarang Foundation has announced an opening for a dynamic Operations Manager (Donor Services) to join their team in Aundh, Pune.
This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs), corporate donors, and the non-profit sector.
The Mission: Facilitating the 'Ease of Giving'
Seva Tarang’s Donor Services wing is dedicated to streamlining the philanthropic journey. The primary goal is to facilitate "Ease of Giving" for investors and donors who want to contribute to social causes but may lack the roadmap of when, how, or to whom to donate.
The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in:
Portfolio Management: Overseeing philanthropy portfolios for HNIs and managing Donor Advised Funds.
Fund Deployment: Facilitating the strategic investment of grants and Social Impact Funds.
NGO Synergy: Evaluating potential NGO partners, monitoring active projects, and conducting on-ground visits to build rapport and ensure transparency.
Driving Impact through MEL Frameworks
A unique aspect of this position is the heavy emphasis on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL). In an era where "impact" must be measurable, the Operations Manager will design frameworks to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and social impact metrics.
These insights aren't just for internal use; they are critical for projects listing on the Social Stock Exchange, where reporting standards are rigorous and evidence-based narratives are essential.
Who is the Ideal Candidate?
Seva Tarang is seeking a leader who blends analytical rigor with a passion for social change.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 5–8 years in M&E, impact assessment, or research within the NGO or CSR sector.
Education: A postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, or an MBA in Sustainability/CSR.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), Excel, and a deep understanding of Theory of Change and Logical Frameworks.
Financial Scope: Experience managing portfolios with annual fund sizes ranging from 5 to 25 crore.
