The Calcutta Foundation is looking for a dynamic and dedicated professional to join their team as a Partnerships and Communications Manager. This full-time role, based in New Alipore, Kolkata, offers a unique opportunity to drive social impact through the foundation's flagship program, Apni Kutir.

The Calcutta Foundation operates with a mission to support women on their journey toward financial independence. Through Apni Kutir, the organization focuses on three core pillars:
Skilling & Literacy: Providing training in tailoring, beauty, wellness, and digital literacy.

The Role: Partnerships and Communications Manager
The successful candidate will lead external engagement and documentation for the Apni Kutir program. The role is a blend of strategic relationship management and creative storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation & Reporting: Leading the creation of annual and bi-annual reports, monthly progress trackers, newsletters, and in-depth case studies to showcase organizational milestones and success stories.
Partnerships & Collaborations: Identifying and developing new collaborative partnerships for workshops while strengthening existing donor relationships.
Event Management: Planning volunteer engagement programs and representing the foundation at exhibitions and networking events.
Media & Design: Managing the social media strategy, website updates, and supervising photography to capture the foundation's impact through visual storytelling.
Candidate Profile
The foundation is seeking female candidates who possess a blend of academic excellence and professional experience in the development sector.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: A Master’s degree in Communications, Development Studies, PR, Journalism, or Social Sciences.
Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally within an NGO or social impact organization.
Language: Proficiency in English, Bengali, and Hindi is required.
Skills: Strong report writing, project management, and basic design skills for IEC materials.
