Based in New Delhi, this strategic role is designed for a target-oriented professional dedicated to mobilizing the resources necessary to transform the lives of India’s most vulnerable children.

As the social impact sector evolves, the need for sustainable, high-impact funding has never been greater. This position represents a unique opportunity for a results-driven leader to bridge the gap between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and grassroots empowerment.

The Mission: Driving Sustainable Growth in Child Protection

TARA has built a reputation as a credible and high-impact partner for child protection interventions. The incoming Partnerships Coordinator will serve as the primary engine for the organization’s growth. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships & Communication, the successful candidate will focus on building a robust pipeline and securing long-term commitments from:

  • Indian CSR Funds

  • Private Foundations

  • High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs/UHNIs)

Key Responsibilities: Strategy, Stewardship, and Leadership

The role is multifaceted, requiring a blend of high-level strategic planning and hands-on relationship management. The impact areas include:

  • Strategic Fundraising: Developing and executing annual strategies with clear income targets for both CSR and non-Indian corporate sectors.

  • Relationship Management: Identifying and qualifying prospects while building deep, lasting connections with CSR heads and ESG teams.

  • Donor Stewardship: Maintaining high retention rates through transparent impact reporting and structured donor engagement.

  • Financial Integrity: Ensuring full visibility of funds across FCRA and domestic CSR accounts, maintaining strict adherence to the Companies Act.

  • Mentorship: Leading a team of Partnerships Officers and interns to ensure a healthy conversion rate and a consistent pipeline of opportunities.

Who is the Ideal Candidate?

TARA is looking for a professional who balances financial acumen with a profound commitment to social values. The ideal candidate profile features:

Requirement Specification
Education Postgraduate degree in Management or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience Minimum 5 years in fundraising, CSR engagement, or partnerships with a track record of closing high-value deals.
Technical Knowledge Deep understanding of CSR regulations, FCRA compliance, and domestic funding laws.
Communication Exceptional English skills and the ability to represent TARA at high-level philanthropy events.

Why Join TARA?

This is more than a career move; it is a chance to lead the financial sustainability of critical child empowerment programs. By positioning TARA as the "preferred partner" for Indian corporates, the Partnerships Coordinator will ensure that protection services for children remain predictable, diversified, and—most importantly—impactful.
