About the Role

TCC Group works with foundations, nonprofits, and companies to propel positive social change through strategic consulting, capacity building, and innovative solutions. The new Philanthropy Strategist will play a pivotal role in this growth, leveraging their deep social sector consulting experience and entrepreneurial mindset.

In this position, you will lead and build teams to develop and deliver existing and new strategy offerings, such as strategic planning, foundation policy, and philanthropy sector strengthening. Your work will directly support the expansion of TCC Group’s partnerships with foundations and nonprofit organizations.

Key Responsibilities

As the Philanthropy Strategist, your duties will include:

  • Business Development: Expanding the client base by identifying prospective clients, drafting proposals, and leading negotiations.

  • Client Engagement: Overseeing and managing all aspects of consulting assignments, including project work plans and budgets.

  • Strategic Leadership: Refining the vision for the firm's strategy services and developing an annual Service Operating Plan.

  • Team Mentorship: Supervising, mentoring, and fostering the growth of TCC Group staff members.

  • Thought Leadership: Representing the firm at conferences, publishing articles, and serving as a key voice in the social sector.

  • Marketing & Communication: Collaborating on the development and promotion of strategy products and services.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the social sector or consulting, with at least five years in a management role. You should have a proven track record of success in organizational and team leadership, a strong professional network, and demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering effective strategy content.

A commitment to the social sector's mission, intellectual curiosity, and a dynamic leadership style are essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

TCC Group offers a competitive and equitable compensation package, with an estimated salary range of $150,000 to $190,000, plus the potential for an annual bonus.
